"Save yourself the headache and go somewhere that appreciates your business. While this place typically has the best prices, I would much rather spend my money elsewhere. There is one gentleman behind the counter that ruins this place every time I have been in. His arrogance and know it all attitude has ruined this place of business for me. If I recall correctly, he worked at Big woods goods years ago. He was a burden on them as well because of the same reasons. I have spent my last dollar at this place because of this employee. There are much nicer gun shops around with much nicer employees with competitive pricing."

"Me & my husband were there this weekend and he was going to buy 2 rifles. He was filing out the paperwork and I asked which address we should use, because we own 2 homes and one lady said to use the one on the drivers license. Then this red headed lady said we had to prove that we live at that address and my husband went and got the tag receipt out of the truck and that wasn’t good enough. She was extremely rude and I guess trying to show her authority. She evidently didn’t want our $2200. We will NEVER go back and will be telling everyone we know not to do business with them. This used to be a good place but never again!"

"I've used them for FFL transfer pickup several times over the years, always went ok. About a month ago, I needed to send a gun back to the dealer I bough it from for warranty work, so I figured I would use them to send it. Older gentleman came to help me, and he quickly admitted he knew nothing about how to ship one, said he would go get some one else. I thanked him. A couple of minutes later he returned with a younger female with red hair, who had a puzzled look on her face. I again carefully explained I needed to send one back for repairs, seller and I had already communicated, that I wanted to use Ch.Gun & Pawn as my FFL, and that I had a pre-printed, pre-paid FedEx shipping label in hand. She took my rifle out of the hard case and began to very slowly and closely look it over with the same very confused look. It was strange to watch. Then she asked me what kind of work was going to be done to it (I'm thinking, what difference does that make?). After another minute or so, They both slowly shook their heads, and the older gentleman said "I just don't know...you have a FedEx label...you might want to take it to them." I'm standing there in disbelief that something as common in the gun world as packaging and shipping a firearm could have them so baffled. I almost wanted to laugh. By the way, you can't just walk in a FedEx drop off inside a Walmart with a firearm and lay it on the counter. FedEx only picks up from an FFL and only delivers to an FFL. But I didn't feel like sticking around to explain something they should know. I simply smiled, put the rifle back in the case, and said "I appreciate your time, I'm good", and walked out. Went 5 miles away to another local well-known gun store. They made a copy of my license, I filled out a form, they took my label, and with a smile told me they would have it packaged and ready for the FedEx guy to pickup the next day."
