"I’ve gotten two tattoos by Alexis and I love both of them. The most recent one I got in October this past year. It was a beautiful black and grey piece on my forearm and it’s healed wonderfully. She was on time, patient with me, friendly and did a great job in my opinion for what I asked for. It was reasonably priced as well. "My girlfriend was recently tattooed by Alexis. She started feeling a more intense pain than usual with tattoos shortly after getting the piece. Turns out she had an infection from Alexis' lack of technique during the session. After messaging Alexis for a return of her deposit, or at least some ownership over the issue, Alexis proceeded to belittle someone with over 100 hours of tattoo work, by making it seem like it was her fault for not "properly applying aftercare". So at this point, it's not about the deposit being returned; we would rather warn prospective clients of hers to consider someone else. Our August appointment has been canceled as result. There should be a working relationship between an artist and their clients. An infection stemming from your own improper tattooing practices is a pretty serious thing. Luckily we have photo proof, and anyone with any sort of tattoo expertise can clearly see that "improper aftercare" wasn't the culprit. You can see the line work leaving deep scarring. How exactly does using "lotion rather than ointment" leave scarring a visible bruising like this? Only resolution to the issue is Alexis blocking her and refusing to acknowledge the fault rests with her."
