"Unprofessional & rude owner & staff. The owner, Staciia answers the business phone "HELLO" & doesn't identify herself. She doesn't greet you when you come in or thank you when you leave. I called Jennifer a stylist 3 times just to make an appointment. Each time I called she said she was busy & would call me back. Well she never called me back. When I arrived for my appointment I mentioned that I had to call 3 times to make an appointment thinking she would apologize for not returning my call. However no apology instead she blurts out "WELL MOST PEOPLE MAKE THEIR APPOINTMENTS BEFORE THEY LEAVE ". I thought ok, but I had not been told that at my previous visit. My first 2 appointments for a root touch up & color didnt come out brunette like I had asked for & wanted so at my 3rd appointment I asked to see the color chart & picked the color myself. The new color was better. When I asked Jennifer what she thought about the new color, she quite loudly says "WELL IT ISN'T RED". Nothing else said. Not looks good, see you later or thank you. I was shocked & somewhat offended by her comment. I thought it was rude. I was pleased with the new color I had chosen so I shook it off. At my last appointment before she started I spent a good 5 minutes explaining in great detail how I wanted my hair cut. My summer cut for hot weather. Much to my surprise when she got ready to cut it she says, "So you want 1/2 inch cut all over" I thought OMG she didn't listen or pay attention to anything I said. So I said no honey that isn't what I said. She proceeds to scream at me in front of the owner & everyone in the salon "WELL WHAT DID YOU SAY HONEY" I was stunned. I'm sure everyone else was too since there was instant silence. Who does that? An angry & immature child? Certainly not an adult professional! It was embarrassing & humiliating to say the least. I said in a calm manner & tone, clearly I have offended you but I don't appreciate you yelling & talking to me that way. I thought she was offended that I called her honey. Just a southern thing. Then she yells out loud again "WELL I DON'T LIKE THE WAY YOU TALK TO ME". I thought REALLY? Who is the one having a child like tantrum making a scene & totally unprofessional here? Like a no class red neck. Well stupid is as stupid does. I asked her to step aside in private to talk. I apologized several times saying I didn't mean to offend her. I thought she would apologize too but no she didnt. Instead she proceeded to say it was all me & my attitude. Again REALLY? Then when I go to the receptionist to pay she just stands there staring at me like I can read her mind. So finally I asked what? She then told me how much I owed. I gave her my debit card & she stood there still staring saying nothing. Then I realized she was waiting for me to tell her to add the usual 20% tip. LOL OMG. So I'm thinking to myself you heard like everyone else how Jennifer yelled at me & you think I am leaving her a tip. So I told her to just process the amount of the service. I have had good & bad hair services over the years but this was the worst encounter I have ever had with a stylist."

"This is a really friendly and pleasant salon with pretty decor. Melissa gives the best haircuts and is prompt and professional. She does a superb job with highlights even with shorter hair. I am happy I found this salon and Melissa in such a convenient location."
