"Norman Zapien,, the owner, has been my friend and hair dresser for about 37 years. He is a genius with his haircuts, but and the same with color. Norman supports the Greensboro community. He is a huge supporter for law enforcement around the holiday. Norman and his crew take up donations of animal food, treats, kitty litter, blankets and more. They provide warm blankets, coats, etc to the homeless.They provide the local animal shelter with lots of supplies. The salon has a very comfortable and loving vibe to all. I come all the way from Monroe to see Norman."

"I AM OBSESSED WITH Zapien's Salon and stylist Amanda Ragusa in Buckhead (ATL)!! Amanda used to manage my hair many years ago. I liked her style and sadly missed her when she left the salon I visited. Ever since her departure, I returned to my quest for a hairstylist who could make my hair smile again. Fast forward 7+ years and many unhappy hair encounters later, I happened upon Zapien's Salon. I was shocked and elated to find this is where Amanda landed!! We have since been reunited, my hair could not be happier and thank me enough for finding Zapien's and Amanda. Amanda's talented color, styling and cutting skills are perfect for my hair (straight, middle-aged, fussy, limp). Her magic makes my hair come alive which makes me feel good about myself. Zapien's salon is cozy, convenient and the staff are all super friendly. The owner, Norman, makes it a point to help you feel welcomed and may add some helpful tips and advice during your beautifying session. "LINA IMPRESSED - So I was exploring Atlanta, GA while I was there and decided that it was time for a fresh cut. I'm very picky when it comes to people cutting my hair, naturally because it's what people see all the time. After searching multiple places, looking at ratings, I came across Zapien's Salon in Atlanta, GA. Because of the COVID situation and being on a trip, I didn't have time to really make an appointment and plan this out. I just happened to go there to see if they were open and ended up making an appointment for an hour later. This is the first salon I've (Male) ever gone to as I normally go to "Barber shops". My hair stylist was Lina G. She started by ensuring she understood what I wanted and communicated thoroughly with me while cutting my hair. She took pride in her work and you could tell she loves what she's doing. She was very meticulous in her style and was able to do everything that I wanted. I ended up going with a fade, trim/thinning out on top, and a hard part. She definitely surpassed my expectations. I HIGHLY recommend her and you checking out this salon if you're in Atlanta, GA. If I ever go back to Atlanta, I will be stopping by. Thank you Lina.
