"I used A1 for catering events so I had their food and enjoy it. This was my first experience in the restaurant it was a line but it moved quickly lots of floor space. No menu so I wasn't able to work on my order while waiting plus I don't do social media is if it is there please get a chalk board so if the menu changes something is there. I purchase all most one of everything ..i focused on others orders and notice items not on display being ordered which is how I got potatoes salad and fried pork chop. Dessert was good and they missed one containers in my bag but I will visit again and most definitely will continue to use for catering. Which is another reason I came to the restaurant to book them for that Friday place my order and pay for it. You can't go wrong with anything u order here. I ended up with fried chicken, ribs, fried pork chop, Mac&cheese, sweet potato souffle, collard greens, chicken dressing, potatoes salad, corn bread, with lemonade we had plenty to choose from I purchased 4 plate 3 desert and 2 additional side which my sweet potato souffle didn't make it home for a family of 3. Support local businesses and Black businesses plenty was taken in history black wall street is a start if you aren't aware. I'll see u soon A1 this Friday for another catering event and even after. Update A1 bbq Brotha E just catered another event my dinner party at Maria's Vineyard and everything was first class and delicious some of which is off the menu and not sold at the restaurant. I will only do business with you for full catering you never let me down and my guest are always impressed by the quality and flavors. Peach cobbler cupcakes I asked for were off the charts delicious! A1 has also catered my larger holiday luncheon event of 100 employees in a warehouse environment Thanksgiving and Christmas the food was beyond impressive visually but also mouth watering you just can't go wrong with love in the cooking it shows!!! As well as catered my smaller events like Employee appreciation day lunch for both my vendors and employees Fried chicken, baked Mac and cheese, string beans, seafood lasagna (off reg menu but inquire),every special occasions should have food that is memorable and I have just that everytime!!!"
