"Service and atmosphere were great! The disappointment comes from being served old and cold food! I guess we didn’t choose the right day and time for “the complete experience” (Sunday 8:15p) We could tell everything was preeeecooked except the steak which was wonderful! Blackberry Lemonade was delicious and sweet! Cornbread - room temp and hard, (if it were fresh, I’m sure it would be better), Seafood Piccadilly - reheated with no lump crab meat in site and a overwhelming amount of hard broccolini chopped ends) Peach cobbler - beside it being served cold, tastes like it was sweetened with sweet n low also taste like the cast iron skillet it was in. The complimentary banana pudding was no better."

"I have been begging to come to Marcus Bar & Grille for a while and I finally had the chance to try it. Let me say it did not disappoint. Everything on the menu was just as tasty and delicious as it was described. We were seated at the chef preparation counter which was cool to see all the chefs cooking the meals. Our server was extremely friendly and made great suggestions. We started with the cornbread that was paired with an apple seasonal jam and the maple whipped butter— the cornbread is very light yet flavorful and moist. For my main course I needed to try the lamb chops. I was so surprised when a whole plate of 6 pieces came out!! They were cooked perfectly as I requested, medium, and amazingly seasoned. The chimichurri sauce added a wonderful freshness and tied the savoury meat together. I got the mac and cheese as a side and the blend of cheeses was delicious. It’s not a saucy mac & cheese (my preference) but more of the custard/egg type but it didn’t have that eggy texture to it at all. My mother (my guest) was debating between the Red Snapper and a different dish— she couldn’t eat too much that night so she opted for the crispy wings with truffle fries. They were very good— the buffalo sauce was strong and paired well with the ranch and they were perfectly crispy. She also got a side of the broccolini which was amazing. They had this bright pickled garlic flavour to them that was just so good and they were cooked tender yet the char was sublime. Overall I cannot rave about the food enough. It was so good and I’m so happy. I definitely want to return to try some of the other menu items I was eyeing!! 100% recommend if you for an upscale dining experience with great food and excellent service."

"I really wanted to love this restaurant and the service and ambiance is wonderful, however the food is just ok. We had the deviled eggs, wings, ribs, salmon, and brisket Mac and cheese. The ribs which were an appetizer was the best part of the meal. The brisket Mac and cheese was the next best item we had as these were both delicious. The salmon and deviled eggs both lacked flavor but edible. Our server and the music playlist was nice and we were able to find parking in front of the restaurant."

"So I decided to treat myself last night and saw this restaurant on TikTok and wanted some good southern soul food. To start off, I was greeted by the friendliest hostesses and seated promptly. I sat at the bar for 25 minutes before being addressed and even asked the chef if I was supposed to order on an app since it was taking too long to even be greeted by a waiter for my drink order, but I remained patient. I then ordered my food which was the cornbread, salmon, mac n cheese, and collard greens. The cornbread was the best thing on the menu which was pretty disappointing. The edges of my salmon were burnt along with being bland despite all of the couscous and sauce under it, collard greens were loaded in vinegar and lacked flavor, and the mac n cheese was the worst I’ve ever tasted. Most of it lacked seasoning and was just loaded with random flavors. I didn’t speak up as I should’ve because I didn’t want to wait any longer for them to remake my order. On top of that I noticed the menu said 9 for cornbread but I was charged 11 as well as the mac n cheese smelling like throw up after being put in a take out box. I will give the ambiance and the greeters a 10/10 but overall this place needs to work on flavors, temperature of food, wait time, and price especially if I’m paying $70+ for small portions."
