"So happy to stumble upon this great little coffee spot. I ordered an Americano with sugar and steamed cream... it was smooth and flavorful. I am an empanada lover and always in search of places that serve good homemade empanadas. I ordered the beef empanada which had nice flavor and also the ham and cheese empanada which was also very good...but could use a little more ham in my opinion. But they were light, crispy and well made. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and I would definitely come again for the coffee and empanadas."

"Nice coffee shop but nothing special in a very crowded coffee house sector. I was hoping for Cuban or other extra special native coffee drinks. Empanadas were nice but ours didn’t have much filling. Service was very good and friendly. I had their signature Golden Latte that was nice. My wife had a cold weak mint tea accompanied with our empanadas for around $20. Nice at most and artwork around this former Arby’s building."

"I love the coffee here! I always get a golden latte, and usually a snack. The outdoor seating is so cute, there's usually a lot of student studying outside but I've never had an issue getting a table. Everyone who works here is also really friendly."

"I’m giving this place a 1 for the following reasons: There was no heat in the building. 2. I was served undercooked/improperly prepared food. 3. To be refunded (I took my order to-go.) I was advised I had to either return to their location I.e. leave the VA hospital or give them my full card number security code, and home zip to write down versus correct this matter while I was on the phone. That is a huge security concern for me. Had there been proper protection/security measures in place, I would have given them a 3 based on the Latte. More to come on it later. The food item I ordered was like a glorified hush puppy but definitely not described as such on the menu so I was surprised when I opened the box. When I bit into it the filling was cold/icy as if it was not cooked to the proper temperature. Which it was not. For these reasons along with only two cup sizes for coffee… I do not recommend and would not return. The Golden Latte has ginger, allspice, cinnamon… brown sugar. It was good but it does not compensate for the other areas of my experience. Hopefully ownership/leadership will learn from this and others will have improved encounters."

"We decided to give this place a try after passing it by too many times. I'm sorry it took us so long to go! The coffee was great (I had a very smooth, delicious Americano, my wife had the signature Golden Latte). We also tried their sampler. Everything was great. Victor was charming and informative. He was running things by himself, so there was a bit of a wait, but he gave everyone attention and did a great job with the food and drinks. It's charming and lovely. Go."
