"Nice chill vibe with relaxing music and plenty of tables and chairs. We had a rhubarb chocolate croissant, apple turnover and an Americano with oat milk. Inside a strip mall near Emory and the Decatur YMCA. A few seats outside facing parking lot. My fav consignment store, Finders Keepers Boutique is a few doors down."
"ChocoLaté surpassed my expectations. It’s in a not so amazing strip mall plaza thing, but the inside of the coffee shop has a cozy vibe, and is quite spacious. Also, the staff was super friendly, and recommended something really special when I asked what they’d suggest. Definitely a spot for dessert kind of coffee drinks, but I’d absolutely recommend. Go with the (sorta) secret menu item: blended cookies and cream with a coffee base, instead of milk base. It’s pretty fantastic."
"Don’t let the name throw you off. Unique atmosphere. Comfy vintage chairs. Chalk board with art, trivia, and announcements. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. With a name like “ChocoLaté” I was expecting a lot more of a chocolate vibe, but was relieved when that wasn’t the case. There’s a cool Open Mic stage in the back. Hot drinks come in four sizes, 12**, 16**, 20****, 24**** oz (* = # of shots)."
"Quirky cute little coffee shop. I got a dairy free chai. Eh! There are ample tables in front of and in back of the space if you wanted to work from here. Ambient music is played so if your work is sensitive to background noise on calls it might not be the best spot for you. There is neat cup art and things for purchase at the register. If you are wanting a nibble to go with your drink you won’t have a ton of options but there were tasty looking things available. There is a strange smell that comes from the bathrooms. It’s a clean smell but in an off putting way."
