"A lovely hide away spot easily missed, Southern Root Spice and Coffee Café is the perfect blend of spice shop and coffee dive. Step into the low light atmosphere hidden being the unassuming door and you are greeted with plush seating and rustic tables in a living room style room. A little further back are walls of custom made spices curated and packaged in house. This is a great spot to spend a few hours reading, studying, or mulling over what to bring home to flavor your next meal. The coffee is unique with a southern flair for their specialty beverages, and the staff are courteous and friendly, aiming to provide personalized service to each of their customers that walks in their door."
"Throughly enjoyed my experience here! I ordered the purdy lavender latte and it was heavenly with just the right amount of sweetness. Amazing homemade spice and tea selection. The inside is beautifully decorated. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Also, easy parking and plenty of comfortable seating space."
"We wanted to try another non-Starbuck coffee spot, and came across this southern charm. We had the standard or classic cup of cappuccino, which was very good, but next time we'll try one of their specialty coffees. They also gave us a complimentary sweet plate for Mother's Day. Friendly service from the Owner, Todd, and barista Kristina. This place also offers a small, 4-item food menu: crab cakes, peach cobbler waffles, avocado toast during the week Tues - Sat?) and sells exotic spices of all kinds. Definitely try this place out!"
"A very comfortable place to come in and have a coffee or tea with good seating and atmosphere. The coffee was delicious if a little under temperature. And the barista Christina was extremely friendly to everyone, a kindness you can't fake. And they also have an amazing spice selection for cooking."
