"We had a great lunch at Taqueria Tsunami Gainesville yesterday. I have some food allergies that were easily accommodated. The manager checked in with us during the meal, too. I got the Shanghai Salad with chicken instead of shrimp. So delicious!"
"I enjoy coming to this place. The kitchen is a tad slow at times but I don't mind the wait. It's a fun atmosphere. The bartender, Michelle, is excellent and friendly. Servers have been great also. Good is well worth the wait. Excellent drink selection as well."
"Had a great experience at Taquiera Tsunami! The tacos were amazing. We also got the Calamari which was had this amazing dipping sauce! I think I have it in the pics but one friend got a Tuna bowl and said he liked it a lot as well. Our waitress was supper friendly and attentive. It was her 21st birthday so we wished her a Happy Birthday. Atmosphere is very open and clean. I will be back for sure!"
"We visited at lunchtime on a Friday and we were able to be seated immediately, which was a pleasant surprise. Thanks to the place not being very busy, we got excellent service from multiple staff members and could not have been happier about it. We loved the attractive and comfortable dining room and the clean, well-maintained restrooms. The menu had a lot of tasty-looking choices available and we chose the All American Bowl and a taco trio with two tacos and a salad. The bowl was good and I'd be willing to order it again, but I wasn't so impressed that I'd call it "great." It wasn't as flavorful/spicy as I may have anticipated. My wife's tacos included a chicken option that tasted excellent, but she wasn't impressed with the texture of the chicken. (That may be a personal preference issue.) The fish taco she tried was too spicy for her, but I thought it was quite good. The chips and queso appetizer was about the best we have ever had. Really. We are looking forward to returning and further exploring the menu."
"Courtney was the best! Food overall was good for me but the second batch of chips we got with our queso were floppy and greasy. The tacos were great and I loved the bowl I got. The mixed drinks were also very good. Definitely would recommend!"
