"My family comes here often, we absolutely love the people and the service! The waiters remember us and they are always very friendly. The food is great, we have gotten sushi and hibachi. I usually get the sashimi as well. I love the presentation of the food and the amount they give you is definitely enough to take a to-go box home!"

"Food was not what I expected from the reviews. The meat was overdone. I asked for medium rare and what I got well done. The spring rolls were very good. The vegetables were terrible. I ordered shrimp and steak and there was about 20 pieces of steak and only five pieces of shrimp. I would come here again to try the fried food. But I would not order the same thing ever again. The service was great. I just wish the food was what everybody said it was going to be."

"Whole experience was immaculate. This was my first time here and our waiter was friendly, patient and attentive. The atmosphere was peaceful and intimate, perfect for a date night. The food was cooked to perfection. Definitely coming back here."

"If i could do a half star i would. My boyfriend and I came here for a date night and both of our meals were disgusting. I ordered the chicken hibachi meal and my chicken was tough and dry to the point I couldn’t eat it. My rice was also stale. My whole plate tasted like it had been sitting out all day and just placed in the microwave. My boyfriend ordered two rolls of sushi and it wasn’t up to expectations. One sushi plate was delivered to a different table. Once the server realized the mistake, they brought it directly to our table despite the ongoing pandemic not to mention food safety laws. One of the rolls happened to be decent, however, the other roll was horrible. I tried a piece and he also tried a piece of the caterpillar roll and we just couldn’t do it as the sushi didn’t taste fresh. We stopped eating our plates and i addressed the issue(s) to the manager and her response was “this is why we have a menu so you can see what is in the sushi rolls.” I made it clear that the ingredients weren’t the issue however she ignored my comments about none of the food being fresh. She offered a discount however refused to take off the displeasing sushi roll. The discount did not reflect the overall displeasure of both meals. Overall this dinner was roughly $60 and barely touched. Will not be coming back."

"I don’t live too far from Gainesville but I haven’t really had a reason to go till now. Stopped by here with a friend and it did not disappoint. The food was so fresh and tasty - the sashimi portions were extremely generous and fresh. Service was impeccable despite it being new so you know hiring is taken very seriously here. Also, shout out to the owner and sushi chefs who made sure our dining experience was above and beyond what you’d expect."
