"I'm rating 3 stars based on 2 separate experiences. I saw Rick here for a while for PTSD and depression and he helped me save my life and marriage from the comfort of my home. The pricing was also very reasonable. I looked sooooo foward to our sessions. For ASD we started therapy and I was very specific about what my son and I needed from therapy and apparently EMDR isn't even recommended for those with aphantasia. Anyways that wasn't even what I disliked bc we never got to it. I did 3 sessions and every single one I started to feel like I was having to defend everything. The therapist talked a lot and it was overwhelming to my child with autism. Well sometimes he would shut down and give small answer and she would just assume my child had no routine at all of that I don't try hard enough to get him to eat the proper foods in order. And I get it's therapy but my child was going to therapy for fear of death and starting every session off atraight asking if he wants to hurt himself or take his life seems a bit much for me. Especially bc he's 7 and didn't even know that it was a thing. Asking one session I get. But every time is overkill and imo how children are wrongly admitted into hospitals. I felt I was transparent and specifically said we needed therapy for overstimulation and asd related things and I just didn't want a therapist who put us in a box... Then immediately proceeded to stick us in a box. I could tell bc instead of accepting he tried his best to get food on his system so he could take meds he was told he was a picky eater...which guess what? Was another assumption!"

"it’s a nice place sure. it’s got free coffee and tea but the therapist i went to was kinda judgmental. only went to her for 2 days after the last visit i shared with her some things i was struggling with such as self care like washing my face etc and she said “ew”. now i’m no rocket scientist but i feel like it was unprofessional of her to say that. i’m looking for someone to help me through my problems not judge me for them."

"Immediately upon asking if they take my insurances I was told to go someplace else. I’m not naming the other facility as it is quite embarrassing. But it was definitely the lowliest insult. The simple truth is there just is no help available unless you have plenty of money. Disabled people can barely pay necessities. So this business stops short of offering help to anyone who may be depressed enough to be disabled. This is sad to feel we don’t deserve help. I have Medicare (which I pay $300 a month for) plus private insurance with a major carrier. Dual insurance, but that’s not enough to get help."

"This is a beautiful place, I found this place during a very rough time, the worst of my life. (I wouldn't say I'm completely past it) I looked forward to my appts, and loved my therapist. Because of Covid-19 my husband lost his job getting laid off and is still waiting to hear back from his Job on when to come back. With his job loss came us losing our medical insurance. I was devastated I'd have to stop my session's. I spoke with my therapist who was understanding and said they would not dismiss me as a patient, for that I'm Thankful. That was back in March/April.since then I've emailed my therapist asking for self pay rates I wanted to have a session if so once a month if I could. I never heard back.... I also believe it would have been nice to be asked how I'm doing since it is now coming up on September, maybe ask hey any idea when you may be able to resume your sessions, just checking in. A short email, message anything would have been Comforting knowing I'm still thought about and wanted as a patient. That us just my feelings. I would still truly recommend this place as a great place to help with single, couple or maybe even family session's. They are so friendly and it's a calming, relaxing environment."

"My daughter has now had two appointments cancelled by one of the psychologist there. I am changing my poor review because the owners contacted me to resolve my initial complaint. The cancellation on both occasions were completely understandable and though I am a frustrated parent, they are doing all that they can to help us. Thank you Walter for reaching out to us."
