"Burrito was good, however, I couldve used more steak. Too much of everything else. The menudo soup was good. Not too overly salted and very little msg. But it had way too much hominy beans. Like 85 percent. I dont know how one eats all of it. I picked them out and filled up a small bowl with it The bean just doesnt have a good flavor. Besides ive had menudo my whole life. Some reason this the first time I had hominy. I prefer to leave it out."

"PACKED PLACE FOR MID FOOD This place was packed, and we were lucky to find a table outside to eat at. It was crowded, with hardly any space to walk by. Most people don’t say “excuse me” either. We ordered menudo and Gorditas, but the Gorditas to be in a to-go box. The menudo was out right away, but I waited about 10 extra minutes just for my Gorditas to be handed to me—after watching the box sit on the counter for 5 minutes. That’s right, the menudo was done, and I had to wait 15 extra minutes for the Gorditas. I saw the employee ignore my to-go box as the packed two other orders that came out AFTER mine. The food was okay. It needed more salt and the eggs in the Gorditas tasted a bit old, reheated. It was disappointing honestly. The beans and rice were the only good things, but it’s hard to mess those up. We won’t be back."

"This place is decent for a quick bite. Don’t expect top notch service when dining in. Food flavoring was good. Would come back again."

"Nestled a few doors down from the “Neighborhood Walmart” at Browns Bridge and McEver Road, Maria and her daughter Lily (pictured), along with their employees provide some of the most delicious huevos rancheros (cooked to order - always fresh) that really makes my morning (and sometimes my dinner too)! They have many tasty reasons to be proud of their authentic fare which has easily wooed my husband and I away from another nearby diner that also specializes in hearty family fare. Today Lily proudly showed me their SECOND “100” Inspection score, which is just another way these talented women seek to show their pride in their authentic food. (Even the requests on the wall for eat-in customers to bus their own tables are in Spanish.) My husband is a big fan of their churros rancheros! The fresh-to-order dishes may take some extra time, but it is worth the wait in our opinion."
