She is trained in trauma-informed yoga and has worked with a variety of groups including seniors, athletes, individuals in addiction recovery, special needs youth, incarcerated women, and correctional staff.
Having discovered yoga by chance in 2015, Susie experienced a profound shift in her physical, mental, and emotional well-being. She earned her RYT 200 certification in 2017 and made the decision to pursue yoga full-time in 2019. As the former Program Director for Prison Yoga Project - Alabama, Susie led programs at Julia Tutwiler Prison for Women and continues to promote their mission.
Yoga has personally helped Susie cope with grief, stress, and the challenges of daily life, inspiring her to provide individualized therapeutic yoga practices to her clients. Whether through virtual or in-person sessions, Susie is dedicated to helping others improve their well-being and embark on their own yoga journey.
