"It has been years that I have been dying to move close to this gym. I am so happy that I finally made the move! I'm not sure if you know but this gym is run by UFC veteran Junior Assuncao & word goes around fast and all I've ever heard is wonderful things about this gym. My husband, 2 daughters & I do BJJ and other classes including the Cardio Kickboxing classes. This gym is going to teach you all the details you need to know in order to be the best. This is a real jiu-jitsu school where you will learn step-by-step process, every step of the way going through each level. I have been to several BJJ/MMA schools for almost 20 years now and unfortunately there has been too many gyms that I have been to that just don't care about their students progress. I will tell you that at Ascension MMA this is not the case. Junior Assuncao is like your one-stop shop in MMA & he will guide you to become the best in MMA &/or BJJ. Women, if you do not want to do BJJ, they have a cardio kickboxing class for women WHILE the kids class is running at the same time. All so you can burn those calories and learn some self defense while your little ones are getting the best BJJ training. All the staff members are kind and caring and you will never have an instructor not want to teach you as I unfortunately have had negative experiences like this in the past in other gyms. I cannot tell you how happy I have been since I made my move here! Team Ascension is the absolute BEST!"
