"Former patient from 19 yrs ago. My daughter who was pregnant somehow found the doctor that I had a work relationship with. I asked my daughter how did she like her? Because I had dealt with her in the past. And she replied she hated going to her. Long story short. My daughter was expected to deliver 2/15 At Emory. Her blood pressure was high so the closest hospital to us was Henry Piedmont. We were thinking they would help get her pressure down and send her home. Well that didn’t happen. They ended up keeping her. So the following morning I give Dr. Sonyika a call the inform her of the situation with my child. That they are going to induce her. Well the answering service picked up. I left a detailed message thinking this woman would call and check on her patient. Well that didn’t happen. The hospital reached out themselves requesting her medical information. Crickets!! Ok post delivery my daughter had complications almost bleed out!! Four lacerations ended up having a blood transfusion. Shortly after discharge. My child had to return to the hospital for clotting issues. Still no phone call back from Dr. Soniyka. My daughter hasn’t been able to get in touch with this office for a follow up appointment ten days later…This is the worst practice ever. In my opinion shouldn’t be open for business. How do you leave your patient’s health hanging in the balance? If anyone is considering services with this provider. Please find someone who will care and treat you with respect."

"If I could give this place zero stars I absolutely would. This place is so unprofessional. I had a appointment scheduled at 10:30 in the morning. Me and my sister arrived at 10:15 we waited until it was almost time for my appointment to approach the door, when we went to the door it was locked and there was no patients inside. We knocked on the door and call the number that was on the door multiple times and nobody answered. Time was passing and before you know it, it was 11:00 and a lady who worked for the clinic pulled up. She saw that the door was locked and made a statement. I proceeded to let her know that my appointment was at 10:30 she told me well I don't suppose to be in until 10:30 ( in a very rude way). Well babes it looks like you're late to me. She unlocked the door and we walked in the whole time somebody was there in the office completely ignoring us at the door and us calling the phone. With all this being said DO NOT COME HERE THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL, YOU WILL WASTE YOUR TIME!!!"

"All I can say is this place is very unorganized unprofessional and ghetto. I will not be bringing my daughter here ever again. The doctor needs to just retire and the staff just needs to go sit down because they are terrible. I can only imagine if the office manager is up to par on professionalism. Probably not!"

"This is the deal. Dr. Haiba is the absolute worst. I went there for a pap smear. I waited in the waiting room for about 30 mins-which is fine, I was completing my new paperwork. Then someone came and got me to move to the back. I stayed back there for 2 hrs waiting for the Dr to come in and see me. Unheard of. I started to put my clothes back on and leave. At that point, she decided to come in and see me. She examined me for 2 mins with a house lamp to tell me that she can not find my IUD string. She said that she was very concerned and she could not find it. I was like, duh lady, where is your proper equipment? She then sent me off for an ultrasound. I had to spend 200.00+ to get an ultrasound for them to say, your string is very visible and noticeable. Well, there you go. Throw the entire establishment in the trash. This lady is horrible."

"This is for all the nurse practitioner, physician assistant, medical students, or any student for that matter. Do not, and I repeat do not come to this sham of a practice to complete your women’s health clinical rotation. Dr. Sonyika is hands down the most hateful, cruel, and disrespectful person I’ve ever met in my life. You will pay this woman 150.00 per week, just for her to treat you with the most disrespect you will ever experience in your life. This woman truly gets off on making other people miserable. This office opens at 9:00 am, with patients arriving every morning around 10:00 am. You’re lucky on a good day if she’s actually there by 11, leaving you, a student, practically running the entire office by yourself with no guidance or supervision. She sits back there in her office all day on the phone gossiping while students are practically running the place. You come there to learn, but instead, you’re paying her to basically come in and run her business for her. I truly feel sorry for the patients. They are receiving the worst quality of care ever and they don’t even know it. I wish I had of listened to the countless warnings I received from other former students and stayed away! It’s 100% not worth it! Find yourself another Practicum site. You will learn absolutely nothing here and be treated poorly the entire time you’re here. On another note: the front desk staff and the lab tech get a thumbs up. They were sweet, kind, and treated me with love and respect the entire time I was there. I would not have been able to pull through if it wasn’t for them. They are the strongest women I’ve ever met, because you have to be strong to work in such a hostile and deplorable environment."
