Actors Habitat

"My experience with Actors Habitat was nothing short of wonderful! I won, from an Instagram giveaway, an 8 week On Camera course taught by Martinez. This is my second year living in Atlanta and pursuing Film/TV, and I knew I needed to enroll in some classes. Thankfully the Instagram giveaway happened and I was able to test out an acting studio before giving up any funds (spoiler alert: they deserve every penny!). I finished the 8 week On Camera course a few weeks ago and let me just say, Martinez is a masterclass and a passionate teacher. He is a genius when it comes to script analysis and is able to uncover so many complexities to characters. In the 8 weeks I studied with Martinez, he challenged me to dig deep and to remain grounded in my acting. He is great at gaging every student's level of experience and meeting them where they are. In addition to classes, I also worked with Martinez on a private self tape session and I was blown away by his patience, support and encouragement. Although it was one class, I already feel a difference in my approach to my auditions and scene work. With every audition I have now, I think back to the lessons Martinez taught, as well as the many tools he gave all of us. I highly recommend Martinez! Although, I haven't yet worked with the other teachers at the Actors Habitat, I have heard from peers that they are just as amazing. I definitely will be returning to learn more from Martinez and the entire team."
