"Not good corporate citizens. We experienced a 90% reduction in sales due to covid and they did not adjust their rates which is based on sales. ALL my other insurance companies were awesome corporate citizens and adjusted their rates accordingly except GENESEE. NOT good corporate citizens! Taking advantage of the covid situation for financial gain. They have been dragging their feet responding to my insurance agent. He is disappointed in them too. I bet my insurance agent and his agency wont even quote their services to their clients now. I have put their info on an industry organization page about their practices and for the industry not to use them. Most people were commenting on how great other insurance companies were in adjusting their rates to reflect their new proper sales figures based in the covid downturn.....NOT Genesee!! I am stuck in a bad situation. If I do not pay I will get cancelled even though my sales fell 90%. Liability policies do not get refunded with an audit at the end of the policy. I am also going to report them to my state insurance organization."
