"I graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage in 1986 and have had a successful career as a Certfied Massage Therapist for the last 38 years. I credit the school with offering an extensive program that introduced me to so much more than basic deep tissue massage. With classes from having a business, professional ethics, anatomy, physiology...the list goes on. I could not recommend this school more highly in preparing you for a lifetime of reward in helping others."
"I am an aesthetic student now, and a massage program graduate. I love this school! All the staff is great and always helpful! I would definitely recommend this school to anyone. I just finished aesthetic intro, my teacher was Hope S. She is amazing!! So patient and helpful!! I wish I could have her as my teacher the entire time! She is so so fabulous!!"
"Atlanta School of Massage is one of the best experiences of my life! From the very beginning of my journey to becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist my experience has been pretty much seamless. The faculty and staff are very kind, caring, helpful, and professional. I feel challenged and prepared for our exams. I am confident that when the time comes to take my MBLEX licensing exam I'll pass with flying colors. Ga requirements are 500 hrs of accredited schooling and we are provided with 750 hrs, which helps us stand out by being better qualified than other schools. I would recommend my school to anyone who is ready to facilitate wellness with their community. I feel empowered and ready to help shape lives."
"I enrolled here straight out of high school and I believe it’s one of the best and hardest decisions I have ever made. I did a lot of research on schools before I decided to come here. The reviews were pretty good but I was still somewhat cautious. I am currently in the Spa Module and my instructor as well as the school has made this feel not like school but an actual spa experience. The school itself is always very clean and well kept up with. They provide you with (or tell you upfront) everything you will need to be successful. Although structurally this school isn’t for the weak, if you miss classes you will have to pay to make them up, and it is required that you are there every single day on your grid so if you have a lot of outside things going on this may not be the school for you."
"Imagine students having issues and your response is “there are plenty of other students and people that are happy with this school.” What a shallow response. Let that be an indicator that they truly do not care about those that do have issues. RED FLAG. Atlanta School of Aesthetics/Massage needs to truly put the students first. When I attended school teachers acted as if they truly didn’t care and had favorites. I had so many issues and needed much help. They stopped answering emails and calls no matter how desperate to win I was! As soon as you would do something that they didn’t approve of you were not a “favorite” and treatment was different. Like others say, you can be easily discarded. You need to understand that people starting school are trying to MAKE IT. Also, charging $25 dollars for make ups is wild! What school does that especially a school priding themselves creating students that are well equipped and knowledgeable. Sure, teachers have to spend extra time, but that should come out of your funds if it’s that serious. Millions of dollars in student loans and you’re still charging students. We won’t get into the teachers that were/are fraudulent charging students different numbers on the low! This school needs serious work within the infrastructure. The reason your ratings are going down is because it’s not the same! There are many schools that are absolutely amazing and that absolutely care. You are not number one anymore, and that is a fact. Please humble your attitude and make it about making wonderful students in the future! Accommodate people without attitude and have compassion. Understand the economy and that things happen! Love your job and fight for the betterment of yourselves and others!"
