"I recently was fitted for my very first hearing aids by Expert Hearing, conveniently located on Skidaway Island. I had resisted the move for years but my hearing - especially of high frequency sounds - continued to be an issue. I met Dr. Susan Timna at a holiday function and made an appointment for a hearing evaluation. Dr. Timna, Dr. Palmer and Kenyada Ficken, Expert Hearing's Chief Audiology Technician, have all combined to make my transition to hearing aids seamless and, to be candid, life changing. I have high-tech, customer-fitted devices from Oticon which are rechargeable and controllable from my iPhone. The best surprise - in addition to better hearing - is that the team suggested integrating the hearing aids into my laptop, enabling me to do conference calls, and even Zoom, Google Meet and Teams calls - all from my Oticon hearing aids. No more Air Pods or bulky headphones. The best part of working with Expert Hearing has been great service. I did a lot of research and was very close to ordering hearing aids online. I am glad I didn't because excellent service has been key to my successful transition. In addition to the initial custom fitting, Dr. Timna has made gradual adjustments to the hearing aids that precisely tailor the amplification to match my hearing loss - all using sophisticated devices and tools right in the office. Their 'concierge' approach has worked very well for me - they answer my questions, make subtle adjustments and are always available to help. I can't say enough good things about Susan and the team at Expert Hearing."
