The owner, Tierra Renee Faulcon, known as "Ms. Tierra" by her families, is a former foster child who was adopted and became an honor graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University.
At Faulcon Prep Academy, students have the opportunity to engage with special mystery readers on Tuesdays, who can be parents, relatives, or older siblings reading selected books to the students. Field trips are also a regular part of the curriculum, allowing students to learn from firsthand experiences in the community.
In addition to academics, students are required to assist with maintaining the school garden, including tasks such as maintaining the compost bin, pulling weeds, sowing seeds, and harvesting fruits and vegetables for meal preparation. Faulcon Prep Academy is dedicated to providing a well-rounded education that incorporates hands-on learning experiences for the students.

"Ms. Tierra is the most amazing teacher we have met. Our daughter went to several pre-k's before finding Ms.Tierra's Faulcon Prep Academy. She is a loving and compassionate teacher who helps kids meet their highest potential. Kids who can push further ahead are encouraged to while kids who need additional practice have that space as well. No cookie cutter lessons. My 4 year old would come home daily with fun facts/skills that she was learning in class. Always excited about learning and felt loved the entire time. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!"
