"Words cannot express how grateful I am to have found the team at Wellstar Physical Therapy. My doctor wrote me a prescription for PT as I was experiencing tingling in my hands and feet. I was not presenting any symptoms of pain so I started the process feeling I didn’t belong there. Boy, was I wrong! From the second I walked in the doors, I immediately felt at home with the staff at the front desk. I then met with Carol who found muscle spasms and tension in my neck. She is hands down the most patient and kind provider I’ve ever worked with. The first few weeks were trial and error (seeing what treatments worked best for my body), but I started seeing slight results right off the bat. As my symptoms were not typical of a neck injury, I continued through a long line of testing with a few other doctors. Carol and the team always asked how I was doing and provided support & reassurance during one of the scariest times of my life. With just under 6 months of work, I am now tingle free! I never thought I’d be sad to not have to visit the doctor anymore, but I will miss my time with the wonderful staff at Avalon Health Park. Thank you for being there for every single one of your patients. What you do for others is amazing. I’ll never forget you all!"

"When I finally was able to get an appt, the therapist said, she did not feel comfortable treating. My OB had sent a referral for me to get PT, due sciatica. I have preeclampsia and the therapist said, if I have High blood pressure, she will not treat me. My believe is she wanted to leave early. My appt was for 3 pm, but secretary as me if I can come either at 11:30 or 2:30. When I said I couldn't, cause I had an specialist appt, she didn't want to treat me. So if my Dr, that knows me, send a referral for me to get tx, she is refusing. She wanted to leave early and she was decriminating against a pregnant woman. If my Dr stated am well enough, to get Pt for relief, she shouldn't die me. Now, I have to wait until the manager comes back, from vacation, to speak to someone. This is not right.. I'm in alot of pain and feel very much discriminated against. If she wanted to leave early, she should had requested it off."
