"I started going to this doctor because my husband was going as well. Dr. Neil is very rude. I went in for a visit with some concerns n my blood pressure was suppose to be elevated but it wasn't done manually which will give a more accurate reading. I know that blood pressure elevates when u walk plus I wasn't sitting down even 5 min. Before being called back. When the nurse took my pressure , she asked me do my blood pressure usually be that high I told her never.So she takes me in the room n he comes in n says I see your pressure is high.. I said to him I never had a blood pressure that high before.. he says so u think we making it up? I said well I just know my pressure don't usually run that high. He has an attitude because I wouldn't accept having blood pressure. I never like a doctor who first choice is prescriptions. The same day he prescribed me a medication that broke me out with small hives all over my body.Not for blood pressure. This was related to something other than that. I called the nurse n informed her that the medicine broke me out. She says to stop taking it n she will talk with Dr. Neil n will contact me back. Never heard from them again. I have been suffering with this being in my system for a while about 4 weeks. Had to end up going to another physician because it was a constant itch from the medication. It wasn't his fault of knowing what I'm allergic to, but it was his responsibility to make sure his patient was good. He didn't show any concern. He talks to you very rudely. U can't be a Christian treating people mean n being rude. That is not at all Godly character. U can't make money without patients. They fail to understand, customer service is everything. I wouldn't recommend anyone to his practice. I hold Dr. To a certain standard n if u don't meet that criteria.. I don't want your service."

"We are new to the area from Texas. My husband has never been treated so rudely by a health professional. My husband explained his health issues but was rudely interrupted by Dr. Rasmussen by "you can tell me everything but it doesn't mean I'm going to listen to everything at once." Then told "this isn't a good fit for me". I understand Dr. Rasmussen not wanting to take my husband on as patient as he was chronic health conditions. It was his rudeness that caught us off guard. My husband is a former police officer and military veteran and is disabled. He was treated as a problem, not a person by Dr. Rasmussen. My husband has had doctors in Mobile, AL and Texas over the past 10 years, we are never been treated so poorly, like we were "less than" and beneath being cared about. Very unprofessional, not to mention very uncaring. I thought doctors cared about people and their illnesses, not here! Staff and nurse was very nice, Dr. Rasmussen was not. He made us feel like an inconvenience, not a person needing health care."

"Our family has been using this practice for our primary care going on two decades. Dr. Rasmussen and his PA Ramona Bolin are great providers. They are attentive and take the time to really get to know their patients. In fact, Miss Ramona has become kind of like a really smart younger sister to me. She helped me get my sugar, weight, BP and other issues under control with very little medication and good lifestyle changes. The staff in the office is always very friendly. And you never wait very long to be seen. I could keep going. But let's just say there is no way I'm switching providers for my family and me."

"I have seen both Dr. Rasmussen and Ramona Bolin, PA for at least eight years. They are extraordinary assets to Headland, Alabama, and anyone can see that they are healthcare workers who truly care about their patients — not their patient’s money. In fact, you don’t find very many doctors/healthcare workers like them who pursue the field of medicine to truly help those in need. If you are new to the Headland area, I would highly recommend this place. Also, I would disregard those few negative reviews because people can abuse not paying on their visit and you would rather have a doctor admit that he or she doesn’t know the diagnosis than someone who takes a wild guess."

"Dr. Ramona Bolin is a wonderful person but i talked to Kerry, finance dep., a couple of times and even on today she said no money-no service. I think this is so sad because people need care and if you can't pay all of the office visit money they won't see you. No exceptions she said! I'm disappointed and mad but understand that this is the world system that we live in. Thanking God in advance for a new Doctor Who is willing to work with their patients and stand behind that they really care and show it."
