"The billing system is completely flawed. Each time you make a visit be prepared for a separate bill for each “service” provided - a bill for the visit, a bill for pathology, a bill for the lesion removal, etc and each bill is sent by mail on completely different days and there’s no way to see a master statement showing everything owed to just pay the statement. This happens for every single visit, I’d pay the $85 pathology bill and online it says nothing else owed then a few days later another bill comes in the mail for something else, we’d pay that and then another bill comes in the mail. We have friends who also did their skin checkups here and the same thing happened to them."

"Today was my first visit with Dr. Goedjen. (Just moved here and have been with a respected practice in Northern VA for many years). I was impressed. Dr. Goedjen is knowledgeable, thorough and took the time to "hear" about my concerns. More importantly, he comes prepared to your visit. He summarized my familial history and noted any concerns. I'm in my early 60's, baked on my Florida hometown beach with no sunscreen for 20 years. It's great to have someone who I believe will help me manage the damage to my skin. Dr. Goedjen's examination and recommendations gave me that confidence today. Added note: website, office and office staff are kind and efficient. Parking is accessible, the facility is modern and comfortable. Recommend to anyone looking for a dermatologist."

Being a doctor these days is difficult, and somehow he manages to maintain his good nature and treats each patient like they really do matter with a comforting manner.
