"My mother, Janet Fortune, recently called the office because she tested positive for Covid today. She wanted a Paxlovid prescription because it's for the relief of Covid symptoms, is free of charge, and will help keep her from being hospitalized. That's important, considering she's 81 & in a high risk group. The response from the so called nurse? "Tough it out for the next 3 days". What kind of response is that?! That is rude, no matter the patients age or circumstances! Just pick up the phone & call in the order, or fax it, or email it! Kroger accepts all 3 options. This is ridiculous and the more I think about it, the more angry I'm getting. How dare you?! How would you feel if this was your mother, relative, or yourself receiving this uncaring, lazy response?! The exact same way, I hope! I'm giving one star because no stars isn't an option & they did answer the phone. Although why they answered is a mystery considering the response she received."
