"Dr. Cross has been my dr for 8 years & has misdiagnosed me twice. If you are over 60, she will listen & test until she finds out what is wrong, but if you are middle-age or younger, she thinks you are healthy. My niece, 35, told her for years her back was hurting & Cross would not even x-ray her. She insinuated she was just wanting pain pills. After an ER visit because my niece could barely walk, they found she was born with a spine disease that required a major spinal fusion. My niece suffered for years because Dr. Cross decided she was young & seeking pills - pills she never got or even asked for. Dr. Cross ignored my symptoms for years as well, insinuating I was a hypochondriac. I am not a senior citizen; therefore I must be healthy. After finally obtaining a referral to a specialist, I was diagnosed with MS. When I told Cross I really did have something wrong with me - an incurable disease she overlooked and I suffered for years without treatment because of her neglect, she told me I was too young to have MS! MS does not have age limitations. Shame on you Dr. Cross for not caring about your patients. Yes, you may have many patients seeking meds or trying to fake disability in the area you work in, but you took an oath as a doctor to not discriminate based on age and gender. I hope you know how much pain and sufferings you have caused your patients. Spend time with your patients, more than your usual 5 minutes, and test until you diagnose correctly. Also, improve your bed side manner and take an ethics class. You are kind to seniors. I have seen you with my mother and you listened to her and was actually friendly. Too bad you do not treat the rest of your patients with the same respect."
