"Last week I took my 92 year old father into Jacksonville Medicare. My father's primary care physician is the VA but since it usually takes several weeks to get an appt, and my father was in significant pain, we opted to have him seen quickly by Jacksonville Medicare. The nurses that saw my dad first, and did his work up and x-rays, were very kind and compassionate. Dr Mishra then saw him. Dr Mishra gave my dad an injection of anti inflammatory drug and a steroid injection, which offered him almost immediate improvement. And for that, I am thankful. However Dr Mishra, I believe, assumed that I had my elderly father in the office, under the guise of seeking opioids. Without going into every word that was said, let me suffice to say that I left feeling chastised and insulted. Again, I am thankful for the successful treatment and relief that my father received, but be advised, if you go into the office, in pain, you may be treated as someone seeking drugs."

"I have a sister that cares for my 92 year old father with everything she has. She has been so upset she can't even relay what happened but we can never use this office again. She was yelled at by a physician, spoken to like she was a drug seeker (come on) I can't begin to tell you her character and care with my parents. This is heartbreaking. I don't even think she will post a review, just out of respect for those that she described as "kind and caring". Years and years of education and a white coat never allows a person to treat humans the way she was treated."

"I was here to just assist my elderly grandmother. I had to bring my type 1 diabetic toddler. He was running and I was trying to get paperwork done for My grandmother and then go outside. A nurse or dr came out and was rude to me and basically told me how to handle my child. This is unacceptable!!!! I was doing my best. My son is 3. From the looks of the other reviews, this place is rude to everyone. Don't ever tell someone how to discipline their kid. I will be making a complaint to the highest chain of command."

"The staff was so nice and extremely compassionate. I have never been before and have extreme laryngitis. They were so patient with me to get my history and symptoms today. I will definitely recommend them and will be back!"

"NO WiFi. Very poor "customer service" right off the bat. No eye contact, no welcome, no smile. Robotic questions and answers with a complete lack of personality. Makes you feel quite unwelcome from the very start. Calling patients back, they open the door, standing completely out of sight and scream out your name. Again, either a complete lack of training in customer service or they just don't care. Arrived and checked in at 1:10 pm Called back at 1:53 pm for vitals and moved to a new waiting area. Same very poor customer service or lack thereof. Called to x-ray at 2 pm Back to another waiting area. 2:06 pm back to x-ray to reshoot one of the x-ray views. To exam room at 2:11 pm Seen by Nurse Practitioner at 2:39 pm Waiting in exam room for copy of x-rays until 2:55 Went to front desk as instructed to receive final discharge summary paperwork. Again, receptionist was incredibly rude. Tried to tell me to sit down and wait and she'd "get to it". That was the last straw. She absolutely LIED and told me that "He" (the Nurse Practitioner) was still in my chart, and I'd have to wait because she couldn't help me. told her that my Nurse Practitioner Was FEMALE and had been finished with me more than 30 minutes ago and was NOT in my chart. You could see it on her face. She knew she had been caught lying! So then she nods toward the other girl and said "She'll help you" and ignored me from that point on. The other young lady asked my name and birthdate, pulled up my record and hit print. It took like 30 seconds. That further confirms to me that the initial young lady was indeed lying to me and purposefully trying to inconvenience patients. *** | wish I could separate the ratings because despite the overall very negative experience with the majority of the medical assistant staff, there were two staff members who were outstanding. The MA who did my x-rays was kind, friendly and very pleasant. And also the Nurse Practitioner, KAYLA ALFORD, CRNP was professional, courteous and very accommodating. They were the only bright spots in an otherwise dismal experience."
