"Took a family member to ER for severe abdominal pain .Receptionist said to have a seat and would be with us when they could and it was a long wait . (We didn't exactly go for a sniffle , we had an emergency) When I explained to her how severe this was ,she said "we don't have anyone here that does abdominal surgery "(appendix). We went to Hospital in lagrange for proper treatment. I don't think they deserved the one star that I was forced to give. But I guess these days they automatically get a "participation star"."

"Eamc-Lanier is the worst I've ever had to go to...I took my 5 yr old to the E.R.due to high fever, vomiting, sore throat, runny nose, and chills..First issue I had was when we got in triage, 2 incompetent male nurses were in there. One at the computer, and the other one standing there..I also see some swab packs laying on the infant weight machine looked to be open. Anyway,I start answering questions the nurse at the computer was asking me,while the other guy walked over to my daughter and started swabbing her mouth as I'm looking at/talking to other nurse.I look down at the swab, and it has a reddish/brown tint on the swab..I then ask the guy that was swabbing, was that blood on that swab, and he said no.My daughter had nothing in her mouth that would cause that swab to look like blood or brown..Therefore, I believe that nurse swab my daughter mouth with a dirty/used swab..The nurse then proceed to try and swab my daughters nose, and was not successful because my daughter was kicking and while I'm struggling to hold her still, and other nurse not helping, just looking.. Fast-forward to after we got in the room.. The incompetent nurse tried swabbing her nose again, in which in only was able to touch the tip of the inside of her nose(didn't even swab it right) he then dropped the swab on my daughter's pant leg, picked it up and put it in the container to send to lab..Well,once that swab was dropped on her pants leg, that contaminated it and should've been thrown in trash but no he didn't..sent it to the lab anyway, contaminated and all..About 30 minutes passed, the nurse comes in the room to give my daughter medicine (which she never got a chance to take) and while on the phone with my daughter father,I expressed concern about that swab being dirty, and the nurse said the other nurse got the swab from the back..I asked him wasn't the swab pack already open when we got in triage, and his answer was, "oh, I don't know"...These people don't give a d*** about black patients, even the innocent little kids. When I questioned the nurse about it,he got an attitude and very defensive..Saying, "there are swabs that come out of the pack brown due to maconium on them".His words not mine...I then asked could he go get a new unopened swab, and show me that they come brown like that.He got pissed, and refused..He said, "ma'am there's critical patients here, with high blood pressure"...As if,my 5 yr old who has 102.5 degree temp isn't a priority/or as serious ...Kids can seizure with high fevers.I just told him don't even bother giving my daughter the medicine , because we were leaving (I gave her medicine when we got home).I should've just followed my gut instinct and waited to take my child to see her pediatrician in the morning...I see why the hospital has a low 2 star rating. .That place need to be shut down, along with their prejudice nurses.. I called back the E.R. to try and get his name to report him,and was told that no they couldn't give me his name due to privacy."

"Dr Cobbs is terrible. His bedside manners is horrendous. He is very condescending and will not make sure you are good. My son was taken by ambulance to this ER and they allowed my sons heart to race for a whole hour before even trying to provide any kind of help. The only reason they started to provide help was because His beats per min got up to 166 and was still rising. They didn’t even do a echocardiogram on him, run a panel for anything relevant to what was going on or anything. They did however do a drug test because they said he, being his autistic self, was acting strange during an emergent situation. He’s autistic and only 18. To listen to his heart, Dr Robert Cobb put 2 gloves over his Stethoscope and listened to his heart over his clothes. I don’t know what that was all about…my sweet son then said by to everyone there and no one responded.(side eye) Do not trust his care."

"The worst hospital ever. The nurse came in ask me one question she didn't even come pass the door after I answered she said okay let me go get your paperwork. Wasn't nothing done at all just terrible."

"Actually one star is too good for this place! I took my bf in for coughing up blood and hurting really bad in his right lung and the first thing the nurse says while checking vitals is oh its probably covid. We tell him the test earlier today was negative but they swabed him again. And 3 hours later the nurse brings discharge paperwork into the room and says here's your 5 day work excuse and discharge papers. No covid was detected tho so what's the quarantine for? Absolutely the worst experience ever! Not everything you go to the hospital for is covid!!"
