"I ordered the Large Oxtail w/ rice and peas, cabbage, plantains, and Jamaican soda. Oxtails were perfectly seasoned, tender, and the perfect amount of gravy ratio. The Jamaican soda was a nice touch, to finish off the meal. 10 out of 10."
"I usually don't write reviews UNLESS the food is exceptionally great or if I've had a terrible experience & in the case, as delicious as the food is the service was unacceptable! The Caucasian male at the register (taking orders/payments) was so rude it almost unbelievable. I was clearly 1st in line in front of another woman, when he asked me if I needed to order & I told him that I called my order in, instead of taking my payment for my food he shooed me aside to take care of the lady behind me who had also called her order in & he proceeds to take her payment as if I was not ahead of her, I had to stop him & asked why was he taking her payment/checking her out before me when we both called in our orders & I arrived/was in line before her. He didn't say anything, pulled up my order, took my payment & handed my food to me which had been sitting on the counter the entire time, ready! I forgot to mention when I arrived he was standing in the back on his phone for a while before he even came to the front to acknowledge me. I have eaten from this place multiple times but my husband usually goes in to pick up the food & he told me the last time he went this same guy was rude to him as well. Its so disappointing because I love the curry shrimp from here."
"Yummy. Stewed chicken has a mild curry flavor that I loved. Plantains could be a little darker, I like them almost burned. Everything was so filling. Will be back for patties."
"The FOOD!!!!! AH- MAZE-ZING!!!! The curry goat was some of the best I have ever had outside of the island! The staff was courteous and welcoming which made me wonder when I called, lol! I am glad I went into this establishment! The atmosphere reminded me of the restaurants/bars in St. Ann and was very homey! You will not be disappointed! Check out the menu and enjoy your visit to the Fern Gully! They even practice Social Distancing for those worried!"
