"I have gone to Cherokee Imaging Center for my last two mammograms without incident. I am self pay so I did my research and the charge here was $135. Evidently they have a new company and the price went up 200%! The receptionist does collect payment before you go in. I imagine they do that in case someone does not want to pay that exorbitant amount. I will be doing my research again to see if there is a more reasonable rate and closer to my house. I drove 50 minutes to be handed that bill."

"Very pleasant experience for my MRI and my first mammogram. Staff is caring and friendly. Prices vs. nearby hospital-affiliated imaging centers is much more affordable as well. I will only use Cherokee Imaging for any imaging needs that arise in the future."

"Had a diagnostic test run here this afternoon, 10/4/2018. The imaging center down the road which is affiliated with a hospital, wanted $895 through insurance, and $395 for self-pay. That seemed expensive to me so I Googled and found Cherokee Imaging Center. Called and got a same-day appointment, and was quoted $125 for the same procedure, with self-pay (I have not met my insurance deductible.) They will bill your insurance and if the insurance doesn't pay, you only pay $125 which is their posted price. They also provide a price list and have one posted on a big sign outside the office. How refreshing! Phone staff was excellent, reception staff were excellent, technician was very personable and has a wonderful bedside manner. I highly recommend this business. You *can* and you *should* shop around for elective tests and procedures. With the high cost of health care, it is really nice to find a quality facility with reasonable prices, and honest prices. "Huge cost difference on CT scan between Cherokee Imaging and large hospital associated imaging center. Almost $700. Waiting room was clean and pleasant, counter staff was very helpful and welcomed me immediately. The lady that performed my procedures was very thorough and when it came time for an IV injection, it was hardly noticeable and she injected slowly and told me different things I might expect. Overall good experience. I would go back. They are near Bridgemill off of Sixes. May 2018"
