"Overstocked inventory, returns, discontinued items, from big retailers. Not a place you go to get a specific item, more of a yard sale/pot luck kind of place. You go in and maybe they have something you want/need, maybe they don’t. You come back a week later and they may have something that suits you perfectly."

"First time visiting 'The Southern Thrift Store'. A tremendous amount of inventory for such a small footprint. Appears to be pallet buys of overstock and surplus of flooring, tools, sinks, toilets, appliances, kitchen appliances, houshold goods, furniture items, and pallet buys of box store returns. Lots of new and used items. I noticed lots of items were overpriced for their current condition, Some items were not priced and some items were appropriately price at a great bargain. I feel the store was very disorganized and cluttered. I feel all inventory should be assessed thoroughly to discard all unsellable merchandise. (damaged goods and unsellable items take up valuable floor space) Appropriately price all items to sell quickly at a profit and at the same time providing the customers a bargain. I believe doing so would make room for new merchandise that arrive. The two ladies at the front counter were cordial and friendly, trying to assist customers as fast and as best they could. Be sure to have plenty of time on your hands. Check you purchase before leaving to ensure item(s) works and no parts are missing. Lots to browse in this store. Will return..."
