"Nice place , clean room and easy on and off interstate. Bed was comfortable, shower was very nice with hot water. 2nd time I've stayed at an Avid hotel and I enjoyed my stay at both of them. Will stay at a Avid again when I book if one is available for my location."
"Hotel staff was so kind and courteous. The hotel lobby and the room were very clean. Yhe price was one of the cheapest we came across in the area. At first we were hesitant because we had never heard of the chain. But we are total fans now. I HIGHLY suggest staying here. Also, free unlimited juice is a nice perk."
"I booked here through Priceline. The first room I received did not have a working heater. It was 30 degrees outside and the room was freezing. I was moved to a new room which smelled of rotting eggs. I decided to leave the hoteland go next door the the holiday in(owned by the same people). I tried to get a refund through Priceline and the manager at Avid denied that request for refund. Be aware that the hotel is new, but a low quality build and has many mechanical issues. In will be disputing the charge on my CC."
"This very SMALL room was freezing! We had a thermostat that didn't work. AND, a heating/AC unit that came on constantly during the nite. We called front desk, but she didn't know what to do. SO, we left at 6:00 a.m. to warm up in car n continue trip. Also, they took a damage deposit which didn't receive back without hassle. Will not stay at another Avid unless we're given our $$ back or receive free comp nite."
"Nice staff and clean. But the room was SMALL. King size bed with about 2 ft on each side including the front. Hotel soap, shampoo, etc. matched. Breakfast was nothing to remember. If it was in a package, it was there (granola bars, cereal, etc.) For the price, stay at the Holiday Inn Express. I decided to try Avid as a one night test run. The only thing I am now avid about is not making this my "go to". I'll stick with Holiday Inn Express."
