Best Western Inn & Suites

"Great location and the night clerk was very sweet. We were traveling with a new baby and stopped exhausted at 4am.. We spoke with the check in clerk about a late check out and she said 12 noon will be ok. The room was old and outdated. The beds were comfortable and seemed clean but there was a smell. At 10:15 housekeeping started banging on the door and woke us up. We told them we had a late check out for noon and she said ok no problem. At 11:30 someone came to our room saying we were late checking out and we explained that we had arranged a noon check out and the man said no, you have 10 mins to get out. In less than 10 mins another person came to door and I explained we would be 5 mins as we were getting our shoes on and she said we have 1 minute to leave the room and stayed on the doorway until we walked out 2 mins later. We travel to this area often and will definitely not be returning here and it's definitely not worth $100 a night even if the customer service was better."

"The reason for 3 stars was because things were very “average”. It’s an old school motel with doors exiting into a parking lot. My room was very clean, the bathroom felt newly renovated. I noticed new landscaping being installed out front, so the owners are spending money to maintain it. The staff was very accommodating, I only had interaction with the daytime desk clerk and the breakfast lady. Both were very friendly. If you are traveling l-75 and looking for a good rate close to the interstate at a reasonable price this would be a good choice. For extended stays I might consider upgrading"

"After reading some of the reviews i was expecting a room that was out dated that smelled like mold and/or cigarette smoke. I was pleasantly surprised.I opened the door to two big clean fluffy beds, a clean room and bathroom, all staff were friendly and welcoming.this wasn’t bad at all!! I had grits and eggs an sausage for breakfast with yogurt and granola(they had much more to choose from also) I would definitely stay here again."

"Non smoking rooms absolutely stink just like a smoking room. I tried 3 different rooms and they all smelled. I had a headache within 30 minutes of being in the room. All of my clothes reeked. Whether worn or not,i had to wash everything when i returned home. Taking a shower was no help in the morning as all the towels smelled like smoke. I wouldn't have stayed, but they weren't willing to give me my money back. I will be lodging a complaint with best western. The front desk person tried her best."

"Sure, the building itself is older, but not dilapidated. Our room was clean, even though older & could use remodeling. No problems with the room whatsoever. But I chose price over indulging myself. The staff is awesome. The pool, cleanest hotel pool I've ever seen. The breakfast, second to none. The location to I-75 is perfect. If you're feeling like you're royalty & "entitled" to plushness, go pay $100 more to sleep for 8 hours at another hotel."
