"We made arrangements for them to come see our Nala. Dr. Helm was very informative and asked us questions and histories of Nala. She was patient and kind. We knew that we had to let our Nala go. Dr. Helm walked us through the process and even sent us a sympathy card. I would definitely recommend Dr. Helm to anyone that needs a Vet. Thank you Dr. Helm."

"What an amazing experience. Dr. Helm was so caring to our dog Dixie. Dixie is so very nervous by nature and has always been such a traumatic experience doing her vet care anywhere else. But, Dr. Helm and her assistance, Amanda, took such a good care of Dixie. Dixie was so calm. We can't imagine doing Dixie's care anywhere else. Thank you, Dr. Helm for such a wonderful, caring and personalized vet care."

"I am posting in response to Danielle Neal's review. All her communications with us were to schedule an appointment for an in home euthanasia. When we accommodated her request to reschedule, so the whole family could be there, to the next morning, she never said it wasn't to euthanize her dog. I always evaluate a pet before a euthanasia, I also have never had a client request a euthanasia for a well pet. So I was expecting we would probably be doing what she requested. So when she met us at the door I did have a sedative in a syringe because that is the first step...I did not bring in a euthanasia drug or anything else I needed to perform a euthanasia. The way the conversation was going I figured out that she had changed her mind and wanted us to evaluate her pet and asked her if that was correct. Her sweet dog had multiple major problems, so my evaluation for a suffering older dog was to do diagnostic testing to see if the dog could be helped or let him go. He was not having quality of life in his conditions. His loss of appetite and large weight loss and mobility issues are all needing to be addressed. You can't hardly fix just one. If testing showed you can do a surgery to fix mobility, your not going to do it if your dog is so sick he doesn't want to eat. I know how stressed Mrs Neal was in coming to terms with her dogs issues, the tears you cry, having to deal with family members concerns and opinions too and wanting to do the right thing. I hope she understands and I wish her all the best, Dr Helm"

"I will start by saying we asked this vet to come examine our beloved pet and determine his quality of life. The vet comes 40 min late (which we understand happens) and when I opened the door she is standing there with a syringe in her hand! Unsure what was in it, but that was the first red flag. I advised her our dog seemed to be doing progressively better and she looked disappointed and says to me, “so we’re not doing this today?” All the while holding this syringe! I was mortified!! Her and her assistant both kept persisting we put him down stating, “he looks miserable!” “Look at him, he’s not happy!” I couldn’t believe my ears. They were both unprofessional, inhumane, no sympathy, compassion or empathy for a family dreading the loss of a loved one! Before booking this vet please think about the love you have for your pet!"
