"This was my first time to visit Kay Animal Hospital. I was bringing in a feral cat that adopted me so I was not at all sure how she would react to this sort of setting. Being a former vet tech, I was looking for a place that was caring, gentle and knowledgeable not just with furbabies but their human counterparts, too! I mean we all are right??!! I made the appointment, the receptionist was very helpful and was sympathetic to my situation. I spent a few days working with my cat getting her used to being in a carrier..treats were a great motivator…she loves them. Upon arrival, I was checked in and the wait time wasn’t long at all. Of course, it could of been the time of day that I scheduled. The vet tech that came in was friendly and understanding. We went over what I wanted done and told her how my cat may react so she laid out a plan that would be as stress free as possible as well as quickly as possible. I deeply appreciated that approach. They took my cat back and before I knew it they were done with everything! Moreover, they said my cat was perfect and let them do whatever they needed to her. Yay! The vet came in and we went over everything and gave a clean bill of health. Then the vet tech came in to make sure I understood everything. Check out was a breeze and we were on our way. I was so nervous about how my cat would react to the whole ordeal but she was amazing! Kay Animal Hospital helped with making her first visit easy and stress free..for both of us! "The staff at Kay Animal Hospital is fantastic! Our dog had a serious eye issue and our regular vet office was booked up. I called Kay in the morning and they were able to work me in the SAME day (using one of their emergency slots)! And my dog was a brand new patient! I wish I had gotten the name of the woman who answered the phone because she was super nice. The vet tech, Alisha was on the ball. And Dr. Wright—well, he’s got to be one of the BEST vets I’ve ever dealt with. Every single staff member was so gracious. It must be a great place to work. The best part—if we couldn’t find an opening, we were going to have to go to Blue Pearl. I’m sure we saved at least $1,000 by going to Kay Animal Hospital. I highly recommend taking yours pets here."
