"I had to write this review after several negative experiences at this practice. Our pets have been coming here for 10 years, but sadly over the past 2-3 years, this practice has changed a lot. I can’t recommend this service. I feel like the doctors price gouge and try to get every dime they can out of their clients ordering unnecessary evaluations and tests. I recently stopped taking my cat to this it’s time, and now will be finding a new vet for the dog as well. There have been several examples of overcharging, but the most recent is when my elderly mother boarded her French bulldog for a weekend. Just 5 hours into boarding, Dr O’Neil called my mother to tell her that her dog had been badly injured, was very painful, and would require sedation to evaluate and treat his injuries. I went to the practice because this seemed very odd, spoke to the Doctor, who advised me that she neeed to treat the dog. I told her that since he was injured under her care, I did not want to be charged, she would not agree to such, so I asked to see the dog. She reluctantly agreed. When he was brought out, he came out happy, wagging his tail, with a tiny bit of blood on his lip that I wiped away with a tissue. It seemed he cut his lip (tiny cut) on something in his kennel. I paid for his day of board and brought him home, and saved $200 in unecessary sedation & evaluations. It’s sad to see this practice go downhill. The care and board we received in the past was wonderful."

"We’ve been seeing the wonderful veterinarians at VMC for about 6 years now for our boxers. We LOVE Dr. Ferguson and Dr. Cook and the whole staff is amazing. We’ve never had any trouble getting an appt quickly and everyone is always so helpful and kind. I couldn’t speak more highly of VMC."

"I have brought all of my animals to VMC. Every time I have had had a medical emergency with either of my two current dogs, Bella and Moe, I am always told to bring them in, even though there may be a bit of wait until we are seen, understandably. I also board with VMC. I had to board my senior dog, Bella. I got very sick with Covid when the pandemic first occurred. I wasn’t expecting to be hospitalized for two months recovering from that virus, but that is exactly what happened. The entire time I was recuperating, the entire time VMC became Bella’s second home. They love on her like she was their dog. She is quite the spoiled pup when she is there! To say VMC is just my dogs vet would be an insult. They are so much more than that. They are a part of my extended family."

"When Nina dug a hole and escaped the backyard last week, she ended up at this Vet and they took great care of sweet Nina. So thankful she ended up in such good hands till we found her. They are angels."

"I am so happy with the services I received from this animal hospital. Dr Ferguson has treated my dogs Lucy and Bizzy, and also my kitty Oliver. I boarded Ollie for a long time, and all the staff members were so kind and so sweet to not only my pet, but myself included. It is also nice that my kitty Ollie has no trauma from being boarded for months on end. My kitty is happy to be home, and is as loving as he was before boarding. That itself is a testament to the wonderful treatment he received while in the care of this veterinary clinic. I can’t write enough good things about the staff or the veterinarians. Thank you so much for treating Ollie with love, care and more importantly, understanding. I know kitties are hard, especially kitties who are grouchy, and I truly appreciate the time you took to make Ollie comfortable and the temporary housing you provided was impeccable."
