"We are from West Michigan and exploring Monticello! Stumbled into this Humboldt thrift store and found a piece of home! Big sable lighthouse! It was cool to see there were a few lighthouses for sale here from our home state. Lots of different items to choose from and very reasonably priced. We were even able to donate some of our kids clothes here! Great little shop with lots of different items."

"The first time I went here I actually had a negative experience. When I went to check out, the two older ladies there completely ignored me for several minutes and just talked to each other, and continued to ignore me while checking me out. However, the last time I went, there were two different ladies there and they were very reasonable and friendly. Everything in there is VERY reasonably priced llus it's a charity that donates profit to the humane society, so it's a definite win-win."
"Where else can you find best selling hardback books for $1.50 each? Paperbacks are only $.25 and there are hundreds to choose from. My husband loves to stroll around and look at gadgets. Great little store that benefits the Jefferson County Humane Society."

I love to just walk in and be greeted by the volunteers even if I buy nothing, but I usually buy something. You can find all kinds of unique and useful items here.
