"We needed a good bit of material to finish a plumbing job and stopped in to grab materials. Proud that they had exactly what we needed since it was a lot of something very specific. Hubs started writing a check to pay for it. My husband had his GATE card and Driver's license and all info printed on the check from our long standing local bank account. I do realize that most the world is moving at a paperless rate but he wrote the check out of an account for materials...the manager who came over to approve the check made some disrespectful comments in regard to the town we live in. Ultimately the managers comment was "We'll, I guess we'll take a chance on him!" Extremely rude, disrespectful service for a quick stop purchase of $700. My husband had enough cash in his pocket to pay for it but we need to run things through the account, he's definitely a hard working fella and I'm sure he wasn't wearing his Sunday best. This is a Nice store with a good selection of materials that has really come through for us many times...but that guy was a huge skid mark on the customer service. Might be best to not make ASSumptions about folks..and if you really can't stop yourself..at least keep your mouth shut. (I would have called the store directly to discuss but husband wouldn't give me any more details about the fella because he's the nicer one of the two of us...)."

"This facility was very nice and upscale. Purchased an attic vent fan from Stone's. Their customer service was superb. They had it at the counter waiting when I arrived. Appears to be a quality product. Works perfectly..."
