"Called the pharmacy today to check on a prescription, as I usually do when they’ve been dropped off by doctors over a week ago and wanted to know if they’d be open on Monday. The person started off nice and said yes, so I ask if my medication could be ready by 8am as that’s the usual time they open. “Literally do this EVERY MONTH” he tells me no, I said that’s how I usually do this he says “it’s not up for debate SIR” (Apparently, the pharmacy doesn’t open till 10 on holidays) (that may have been nice information to have been given, rather than being told “it’s not up for debate SIR!” I was absolutely stunned, as I had been extremely nice the whole time. He went on to lecture me so I just hung up on him. This will be the LAST time you speak to me like I’m a child. I will be sharing this story with all of my Cherokee county seniors and friends."
