"I know there are people who love it here and I’m sure there are some great techs who do well but I took my chances and got a couple of random techs. The lady who did my pedicure was not good- the massage was terrible, she was slow to get started and then really seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. She soaked my nail polish off wrong and the mani pedi took over 4 hours. The tech who did my gel mani did a great job the first time but my nails were broken and chipped after 2 days the second time I went to her. They also charge you extra if you already have gel on your nails and then if you want any sort of design but that isn’t clear online when you book. I wanted to love this place because it was so cute but the techs seem inexperienced and the ones I had were very unfriendly. Also, it was SO expensive compared to other nail salons in the area. Just not worth it."

"I really wanted to love this place. The salon is beautifully designed and clean but sadly the results of my brow tint service have been a nightmare for me. Being new to Columbus, I decided to try Uptown Nail and Beauty for a Pedicure, Lash tint and Brow tint. My pedicure was fantastic. Gwen, the nail tech was kind, gentle and did a beautiful job. I also received a lash tint, which was done well. The brow tint did not meet my expectations and has been the worst brow tint I have ever experienced. As a natural redhead, brow tinting is part of my beauty routine every 6 weeks and has been for the past 10 years. I have been to various salons to have my brows tinted where the esthetician color matches my brows to my hair, a shade of red. Claire was the esthetician who performed the Brow tint. She was very easy to talk to and was friendly and kind. I told her that I was getting myself together for one of the most important days of my life, renewing my vows with my husband. We are traveling to an out of state ceremony location and having professional photos taken. She assured me she was color matching my eyebrows to my hair, which is red. There was absolutely no red tint in my brows, instead my brows were tinted BLACK. I have never had this happen from a brow tint in my life. This was especially upsetting to me because of my plans, my planned and paid for destination photoshoot and how jarring the results were. I spoke with the manager about my service and how I have one of the most important events of my life in just a couple days time. Instead of refunding me for the service, she said they would 'wash down' and get lighter and if they don't to call her. They have not 'washed down' and they have got even darker from the photos. I honestly could care less about a refund, its the fact that this has caused stress in my life before a very special day for me. I came to a professional esthetician to look and feel beautiful and was left with horrifying results."
