"I have visited here twice since they opened. I had passed several nail salons on the way to Allure. The first time I went I was not pleased at all with the tech. My nails were bleeding. When I went this time was soley because of the massage chair! Crazy at it seems but I was needing the massage. I got both nails and toe nails done. I told tech to cut short. When I left the salon my nails were not cut correctly some were long and others too short. I payed full price because they wouldn't honor the discount. Everything else about this place is nice and staff very friendly. For the price I paid I will go somewhere else."

"Found this place 9mins from my house and decided to try them out on an early Saturday am. The shop is very clean. All of the staff greeted me and were very pleasant. They also offer their guests beverages. I got my nails done by Yo-Yo & come to find out it was her 1st day at the shop as well (but she's been a nail tech for 7 yrs). She was very nice and gave small talk but u can tell she is particular about her work. She did a beautiful job and I will definitely be back. She was quick but thorough. Shaped perfect, polish even and neat. I highly suggest this nail shop."

"I greatly enjoyed my experience up until it was time to pay for my service. My pedicure by Nancy was great! She did take a VERY long time, and I did not have the time on this particular day to enjoy the extended service, but it was still great. The only critique I had for her was she literally drenched my toes in acetone to remove the gel polish. I was very annoyed because this was an obvious shortcut to the more ethical and common way of gel polish removal. I told her the acetone burned, and she quickly remedied the situation by retrieving aluminum foil to then individually place my toes in the foil with acetone. I did not have to mention this to her, so she was well aware of the proper way to remove the gel polish. Tiffany did my acrylic nails. I specifically told her I wanted SHORT nails. I also showed her TWO reference photos of short coffin nails. If you are familiar with coffin nails, you will know that the nails can only be so short to achieve the coffin shape. An acrylic full set with gel polish starts at $45. My nails were $65 for LENGTH and shape. What length? If Tiffany knew the nails I showed her were not short, she should have informed me. The reference pictures were evidently short nails. I have had medium to long coffin nails many times to know the difference. Additionally, my usual nail place charges $70 for LONG coffin nails, and they are an elite salon in the heart of Atlanta. I am very disappointed to be charged for length when I was very clear I wanted short nails, and my nails are evidently short. Please refer to the attached photos. Tiffany told me, "You have long nails." I am in disbelief. The checkout experience completely trumped my previous impression, therefore warranting 2 stars. I will not be returning to this salon."
