The owner hires stylists like Debbie that have no license, you will be bullied out the salon if you have a sweet personality, if you are really great at your craft, and when you stick up for yourself. The owner Nina gossips about other stylists within her salon establishment and shows favoritism. When i started there was 7 stylists after today she is down to 4, she gets on instagram and talks about how she can take care of the shop by herself if she gets rid of everyone,talks about professionalism but doesnt practice it herself , she shows all her emotions at the salon infront of clients, and clients ask about if the owner is upset with something, she texts her stylists paragraphs right b4 they start for the day at the salon, she asks for keys back in the middle of a clients service, doesnt let people come to her if they are dealing with isues, unfairly judges b4 she gets the other side of stories, i lost a family member she new that prior to trying to pull the rug under my feet completely, this didnt stop anythjng but it is a warning for upcoming womenlooking g for a supportive salon"

"I came here with my daughter a month ago because our stylist was sick and we needed our hair done. I saw the reviews were good so I thought whynot. When we walked in, we were greeted and asked what services we were looking for. I explained our situation and the lady asked who could take us. Now we were walk ins, so it was understandable that we'd get whoever was available. The young lady who works in the last chair on the left ended up taking us. She was friendly and sweet and seemed very knowledgeable when I asked her questions about styling our hair, so I felt comfortable that she knew what she was doing. Biggest mistake I ever made!! I should have left when she said her speciality was doing wigs and lace fronts. But there we were. Anyway, our visit was going great until it came time to press out our hair. Not only did she use two different flat irons, she passed them over the same parts of hair three times! Now our hair is thick and long, but it takes really good to heat, so once would have been enough to get it straight. When I asked her why she was using two flat irons, she told me one was to straighten the roots and the other was to press the hair. When I asked what temp she had them set on, she said the heat wasn't on high and it wouldn't cause heat damage. I didn't feel right but I let her finish. Now here are a month later, I go to wash my hair and my ends are STRAIGHT!! I did a protein and deep conditioning treatment and I still have almost 2 inches of straight hair!! 200 dollars I spent for us to get out hair done and this happens. At this point, I don't even blame the girl, I blame myself for not stopping her. But never again. I won't be coming back."
