"We ended up staying here for 9 months while on contract with a local hospital. I always felt safe and it was perfect for us and our little dogs. The location is good(about 14 minutes from Southeast Health) and there is a nice doggie daycare not too far also (Wags and Whiskers of the Wiregrass). We definitely plan on coming back here if we work at the hospital again. Laundry facilities were great with large front loading large washers where I could wash king comforters. There were also 2 large bathrooms with showers in the laundry building if needed. Our site was HUGE. We have a 38 foot class A and were able to have a truck, an suv, a dog fence and plenty of room left over between sites. Stacy in the office is great. I was amazed she knew me by name and what site I was on every time I walked in (there are lots of sites)."

"My husband and I lived here for about 6 months and they have been the best landlords we have ever had. We have had some nightmare landlords in Alabama but Mr. Larry and Mrs. Catrina have been a blessing and great people to know. Helpful, kind, and willing to work with us. Amazing campground and we recommend them to anyone traveling through the Dothan area or needing a place to rest and relax. They don’t tolerate riff raff or hoodlums so it’s been especially good for elderly and our small family, very safe area and never had any issues. Multiple times my husband would leave our Challenger or Ram unlocked and never had anything come up missing and nobody messed with our lot or decorations. I do recommend getting a P.O. Box though as the local post office can’t seem to read and likes to put your mail in whatever mailbox they feel like. (Not the campgrounds fault!) wonderful people there and highly recommend! We loved them, we’re going to miss them dearly!"

"Family who owns this are great! During this last hurricane they were full with no openings when I called for a reservation. However, they offered to store my fifth wheel free of charge to help out! I went there and dropped it off. They took about 30 minutes of their time to help me out and gave me a few days to hold it there so I tried to give the gentleman a tip of 20.00 for the kindness. He absolutely refused to take the tip and said “I don’t make my money that way.” Meaning he wasn’t trying to take advantage of a hard situation I was in. They took care of me as a person not as a customer. So I would recommend them for sure."

"If you need a cheap place for short term then take your chances. Keep your stuff locked up and be careful of the full timers. Not family friendly and there is nothing to do here. You get what you pay for. We watched a guy and girl get served warrants in our area. Guns out and k9 dog. They have strict "rules" but only enforce when the owner doesn't want to be lazy. There are life lingers there and anyone traveling knows how awful that is. Many people told us who live there full time HATE the owners but put up with them because it's cheap. Photo of felon wanted who was arrested. I have the full video if you need more proof. I am pretty sure most of the "great" reviews are from Larry and Cats family and friends. Safe travels . SHALOM"
