"Drove out of our way to visit. It was a really cool place but there was no critical reflections on history and no information on the enslaved people who also were associated with the house. I found that surprising and disappointing and not in line with most museums and historic houses I've visted in the past"

"I was the only person at the mansion when I arrived, so I basically had a private tour. I was guided on the bottom floor, but the second floor was self-guided. The only thing that could improve the experience would be a pamphlet with printed information, because I can't remember everything they told me. I enjoyed the visit very much! Beautiful mansion with lots of history."
