"An absolutely beautiful salon, the environment is so very welcoming . As are the people whom own the building and work at the Salon. I had an emergency situation in the late evening time, I called last minute and was welcomed and greeted by an incredibly warm and professional Sarah, happy to help me. The owner both comforted me in a time of need and helped me avoid a near disaster. I will absolutely be back under better circumstances, this is one of the best places to be taken care of and have your hair needs met, you will be in good hands! Thank you again so very much. "I’m new to the area and was looking for a last minute appointment for a cut and color. They were able to accommodate me a few days before the holidays. I was surprised but nervous, because most places were booked up. When I arrived, Tom ( one of the owners) met me outside and welcomed me in. My colorist Sara came out right away and introduced herself. We got started quickly and she was friendly and knowledgeable regarding hair. She gave an awesome shampoo with a little scalp massage and the products they use smell good! I showed her a picture of the color I wanted and got what looked like a great match. Will be returning, think I found my new neighborhood salon. Thanks Sara!"
"On my second visit (the first was also excellent), I walked in to check on availability and although at the time there was no immediate openings, I was invited to a delicious hot coffee and encouraged to take as long as I wanted to have a seat in the lobby to write. Amy is a delightful person and the overall vibe is very warm and relaxing. I appreciate the humane, small-town feel."
"Amy is AMAZING! The salon is a beautiful old home and probably the cleanest most uncluttered salon I’ve ever stepped into. After years of being told, it was a multiple stage process to get me to my natural gray. I decided to try Oak and Lorel today for the first time, and I am very very pleased with the results. I have found my forever home for hair and I do not intend on ever leaving that is unless of course Amy does! 10 stars if possible!!!!"
