"Step back in time? Yea, thank you very much I think I will! Loved this little gem in downtown LaGrange. The hot dogs are excellent, reasonably priced (imagine that!!) and the atmosphere is cozy and nostalgic. By cozy, I mean it’s small. Sit at the counter if you can or in one of the small 2-toppers beside the bar. How rare to find a family run restaurant that has been in business for over 100 years. I dare say not much has changed-and that’s a good thing. We had the slaw dog and the kraut dog and highly recommend both. If you are in the area as stop here is a “must-do”."
"Great little place…step back into time. Very accommodating with the no bun option too! You must try the ice cream sandwiches are made with FRESH baked cookies!! Family owned. Great friendly staff. We enjoyed our meal and visiting!"
"Lots of people here on arrival ordering at the sidewalk window. Many sharing that they are regulars aa they enjoy the price point, speed and hot dogs. We ordered hot dogs and they seemed standard. I tired the burger made fresh but not a recommendation. There is limited seating inside and some behind the building."
