Waffle House

"We were informed today that waffle house decided to change their waffle makers. They did away with the thin waffles and moved to the thicker belgium waffle style. Gotta love it when a company fixes a non issue. Our waitress made us a second waffle even after we asked for well done the first time which she did cook them well done but they were gummy on the inside and raw batter. She brought one that she cooked even longer and it was the same result. It gets burned on the outside but do to the style of waffle you cannot get a cooked inside in such a quick amount of time like they are trying to do. Its crazy that a place called waffle house makes a disgusting waffle. I refuse to come back if this is going to be the “new” waffles. Everything else was the same, just a dirty waffle house per the usual. Our waitress was good though."

"The environment this location provides is unclean, unprofessional, and disrespectful. The silverware was nasty and dead insects were on the tables. My party continued to request our food to go (hoping to have untouched silverware and to go plates) and after receiving our order, we reviewed our tickets. Unsure of why our tickets costed so much we went back into the store to verify all of the charges we paid. Our server’s (Nicole) response was, “I ain’t broke baby, I ain’t got to steal.” Now rather than becoming defensive and immediately assuming you were being attacked, or insinuating we were poor for inquiring the cost of our food; you could have just explained how we were charged $35 for two $10 plates, and less than $5 worth of drinks. All and all, I still feel as if I was finessed out of money, provided poor and disrespectful service, and unwelcome. I will not be eating at this location again because the team obviously has a lack in communication (unclean, unhelpful) and the food on top of that was not worth all I had to put up with. Cooperate and/or management needs to get involved quickly, and absolutely the health department. Also wishing I had photos of the dining section to show how unclean it was."

"Awful attitudes. Rude. Went about 8:00am. Used to eat here often when I worked in the area a few years ago, the staff was friendly then. Recommend going to The Flying Biscuit in the shopping center next door. They were very nice. Food was good."
