"The atmosphere was good to start. We had a waitress (Shae) that took our order, she smelled like marijuana when she bent down to look at menu item I was referring to. Shae could not get our orders correct, she even added wrong salad dressing to my co-workers salad and tried to tell my co-worker that is what he ordered. There were 2 other customers that came in and then left back out, they were sitting over by Shae was sitting on the other side them. A co-worker and myself ordered the shrimp & grits. The presentation was good. We didn’t Iike our meal so the manager/owner offered use to order something else. Thank you for that. Shae could not get our tickets correct so we just paid what was on our tickets without Shae correcting it because we were just over it at this point. We even noticed that our tips were changed on our receipts."

"The food was not good. The customer service was even worse. We sat outside waiting for a Server for 35 minutes. We weren't offered drinks or anything she just kept saying she'd be with us. We decided to go inside because it was hot. We waited another 15 minutes before being offered a drink. Finally we ordered. The Rubeun had thick meat versus deli sliced meat, I think it was the tastiest of the 4 meals. The jambalaya was sweet, which is not how it should be. My son eats everything even though he won't eat it. My shrimp and grits had 4 shrimp and the sausage had a lot of gristle. It was sweet, which is unheard of. The kids' chicken tenders were huge. Not bad, except they were cooked very dark. I definitely will not return. It sucks because the menu looked quite impressive."

"I rarely write bad reviews, but my food experience was not good. Dinner here was not as expected. Maybe I just ordered the wrong things off the menu or it was just that bad. My husband and I came here on a whim since we had limited options and wanted a place we could sit down and eat. First off the restaurant was almost completely empty with a few people sitting in the bar area. We ordered the Nashville hot chicken and waffles and the fried chicken plate that came with mashed potatoes with gravy and collard greens (which I swapped out for Mac and cheese since it had a pork base) and brownie sundae for dessert. The food was awful. The chicken on both dishes were not crispy, it was like it was over cooked. The waffles became hard and unable to cut through with our silverware almost like it was microwaved. The mashed potatoes had bits and pieces that tasted like it had been sitting out and the Mac and cheese was just disgusting. The only reason I rated this two star was because the brownie sundae was really good and our service was okay as well. Would not be back and would not recommend."
