"We just went to have appetizers, and ordered the smoked trout dip with pita wedges and the chickpea fries with aiolli. (which isn't technically an appetizer - it's a side - but should be an appetizer!) The smoked trout dip is excellent - the only one I've had comparable was on Mackinac Island. And the chickpea fries are so yummy every time! I've never known anyone else to carry these, and ever since I tried them, they're the only side I get. Other times I've been to Marlow's, I've gotten the fish tacos - super, the tavern burger - also super, the shrimp and grits- excellent, and what was then the house salad. It was very unique and flavorful, but they no longer carry it, unfortunately. That aside, Marlow's is a great tavern-style restaurant with a much more varied menu than many other places of its genre, and the food is consistently above par!"

"Price is great for good food. There was 4 of us we each got a meal and 2 apps for $125. We got wings, Kettle chips with Gorgonzola cheese bacon , fish tacos, burgers, pressed Cuban sandwich. I loved everything except the kettle chips but my brother loved them. Only reason why they got 4 stars is because I drove 40 mins and they didn’t have my favorite shrimp and crab nachos. The other reason is the Marlow’s Tavern in Midtown was better."

"Julia was our waitress and let me just say...AMAZING. Had some of the best service, very attentive and fast, fast, fast. The atmosphere was fun and bustling. The food was great tasting and well presented. Had the chicken panini and the grouper sandwich. Both were amazing. Highly recommend this place! We will absolutely be back here."

"Stopped in for lunch right at opening on a Sunday. Seated immediately, of course. We ordered items from both the brunch menu and the regular menu. Server was great, made sure our drinks did not get empty. Food took about 30 minutes to come out, but was hot and fresh. No problems with our visit."
