"Convenient and calm spot to launch a kayak most days. No bathrooms or tables. Short walking trail and flat shaded spots to fish or skip rocks with kids."

"Great area to kayak. Lots of little coves and still water. Very calm and peaceful. Of the main part of the lake."

"This park is controlled by Forsyth County, not the Army Corps of Engineers. To use the 2 deep water boat launch ramps you must buy a pass from the on site vending machine, or buy an annual pass from the county park office in Central Park. Because of the extremely long ramps at this park, these ramps can still be used when many other parks are closed because of low lake levels. Besides the 2 launches there is a small dock for loading and unloading boats. No swimming or fishing from the dock is permitted. This park also has a few simple trails that follow the shoreline with places to do bank fishing. There is not much else this park offers."

"Great place for putting in kayaks. Some good dock fishing if you're after some largemouth."
